There are two types of securities: debt and equity.
A debt security (bonds, CDs) is such because when purchased, the corporation or government offering the bond or CD becomes indebted to the purchaser for the amount of the security.
An equity security (stocks) is a stake in a company, a share of ownership.
Heleum utilizes foreign and crypto currency exchange and reserve balances. Neither of these mechanisms is considered a security by the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
